accept and seek…

how many times in our life do we just sit back and accept what we have and do nothing about it…that is…when you have this deep inner sense of a “pull” towards something else? how many people do you know that actually try to achieve their dreams? goals? when i read about those people’s experience it is always very inspiring, but when they are part of your life, it is even more attractive to imitate
take Jesus for example (insert your eye roll here if you want, but He is the perfect example)…
He had no choice in the matter, He was chosen to be here, to start out as an Infant born in a stable with a young Mother and a foster father of older age, homeless, and literally with nothing of this world
He had to grow up under His Mother’s care and guidance, and work and obey Her and Saint Joseph. He had the ability to give them everything…give Himself anything He desired…but He chose to live the life He was given out of obedience, humility and to end up showing us the example of how to be
The story goes on (obviously) but the point being, is that we are to accept our lives, the theology He has granted to us, the amount of light He has shown us thus far…
however (or “but”)
He didn’t just die of this world did He…He was constantly striving for heaven…to get back there…to lead us there too.
He preached His word, did His Father’s work, and with the help of the Holy Spirit, was able to have the grace He needed to fulfill these things.
as do we
We too need to strive for what is important…not status or praise…but His pleasure within us…no one needs to know…and that’s the beauty of it…not many did know He was actually the Savior when He was upon this Earth…but we sure do now…….just as we too need to do what God wants us to do without others even knowing it
even when we can’t see the green grass or eat the freshness of the Earth, we know it is there and we ever yearn for that nourishment from the Earth
like heaven…we can’t see it…we know it’s there…and we are in constant yearn for it….(if we do not, then we are too much of this world)
it certainly doesn’t mean we have to sit around and wait…enjoy what you have been given…there are so many joys you have within…

enjoy your day…enjoy your life…seek the truth and accept { love } what you have been given
xo + blessings,
Anne Marie

Anne Marie,
How ironic (perhaps that’s not the right word) that I read these words from you this morning…as I’m feeling an overwhelming need for something more…something different. Not for more things, but for a different kind of nourishment for myself, my soul and my family. You always seem to be able to say things that give me a clearer perspective. Enjoy your day also!
These are beautiful pictures…love the rosy cheeks.
Thank you for your words today…they warm my heart and lift my spirits to the heavens and all God has given us…you have a way with words and your family is so beautiful. God bless you and yours and all you are!!!
such beautiful words for my heart today. Thank you for blessing my day.
I see True Love in your pictures!
You speak of the truth and in a very meaningful way and much needed these days! I try to have a content heart myself and find myself wanting contentment more than anything these days Beautiful Photo.~Blessings K.Marie
That’s exactly the point and the reason of a “hot” discussion yesterday night between Denny and me.
