A pie*ography kind of week…

February 25, 2013 --- 6 Comments

Oh friends…being able to {f i n a l l y } share with you , what I like to call my “board to fork” experience, makes me completely happy!  There is so much behind this project…so many stories, women, laughs, and the most fun:  photographs!!

My very good friend Traci Thorson and I were hired by Jo Packham to do the whole project of the book: Pie*ography

If you haven’t been able to buy it at Barnes and Nobles yet, you can do so online HERE.

As you know, there is always a story behind everything, and I intend on telling you mine tomorrow.

Baking 40 pies in 40 days could also be another title, considering that is exactly what it was – all I know is that Traci and I were both very pleased to do this project before Lent last year.

Yes, it has been a year since we have done it, but the memories are still so vivid.

The best part of this is that you { yes…Y O U } can participate in Pie*ography Thursday !!  Imagine sharing a piece of your life, as a  pie, and actually sitting down with your friend to enjoy your pie…gluten free or not…who doesn’t love sitting down and having pie?  I know I do and I know I did for 40 days last year…

{ please feel free to take this image and share on your blog }

Every Thursday I will feature a pie I baked and styled and the behind the scenes photographs you won’t see in Pie*ography.

I’ll have a linky thing and all that, so we can share eachother’s pies……..so start thinking of what kind of pie would you be?Maybe your mom’s favorite apple pie, or how does a lemon chess pie sound? or something savory? { hint: mine was savory }
